Piccolo/Flute

  • A Play Condition (P/C) repair is your basic “tune up” which aims to bring your instrument back to good playing condition. This service often requires little to no disassembly of the instrument.

    This service includes:

    • Replacement of Necessary Pads/Corks/Springs (Itemized Repairs)

    • Adjustment and Regulation

    Price: $50 + Itemized Repair Costs

  • A Clean, Oil, and Adjust (COA) repair is more comprehensive than your general Play Condition service but does not require all materials to be replaced.

    This service includes the Play Condition service, plus:

    • Disassembly and cleaning of all parts

    • Light buff/polish

    • Reassembly and oiling of all moving mechanisms

    Price: $125 + Itemized Repair Costs

  • A Full Repad may be required if the inspection reveals that more than half the pads need replacement.

    This service includes the Clean, Oil, and Adjust service, plus:

    • Replacement of all Pads, Corks, and Felts

    Price: $250

  • Our Full Service Cleaning includes:

    • Disassembly of the instrument including freeing any stuck slides

    • Thorough degreasing and cleaning of the inside and outside of instrument

    • Reassembly with installation of new water key corks and valve felts (with special attention paid to valve realignment)

    • Springs replaced as needed

    • Lubrication of valves and slides

    • Silver and Raw Brass instruments are hand-polished

    Price:

    Lacquered - $75

    Silver/Unlacquered - $100

    • Pulling Stuck Mouthpiece - Free ($20 if more than 15 minutes of work)

    • Replacement of Water Key Cork - $15

    • Replacement of Water Key Springs & Mechanisms - $30 (plus price of part if necessary)
